In October 2025, Estes Law Office, P.L.L.C. purchased the historic Joe Largent House, located just steps from the Square in beautiful downtown McKinney. Built in 1921, the Largent House is described in a local historical publication as a "rare architectural artifact from McKinney's exuberant days of prosperity and growth." After an extensive renovation, the historic property has been thoughtfully adapted into the firm's new McKinney office while preserving its distinctive architectural character. Today, the building serves not only as the firm's McKinney office but also as one of the City's recognized historic landmarks. The office is located directly across the street from Dr. Glenn Mitchell Memorial Park and is within walking distance of many of McKinney's finest shops, restaurants, and attractions.

In recognition of its historical significance, the property has been designated as an official stop on the City of McKinney's Historic Residential Walking Tour. Visitors exploring McKinney's historic neighborhoods can learn about the building's architectural and historical importance as part of the City's self-guided tour. Additional information about the tour, including an interactive map and details about the Joe Largent House, is available through the City of McKinney's tourism website: https://visitmckinney.visitwidget.com/places/joe-largent-house.

One of the most remarkable features of the McKinney office is a pair of original Belcher Mosaic Glass Company stained glass windows, dating to approximately 1895 - predating the construction of the building by more than twenty-five years. Manufactured by the Belcher Mosaic Glass Company of Newark, New Jersey, these extraordinary windows were created using the company's patented mosaic glass process, an innovative technique that produced intricate geometric designs unlike traditional leaded stained glass. Because the company operated for only a brief period during the late nineteenth century, surviving examples are exceptionally rare today.

The windows in the McKinney office closely resemble an original Belcher mosaic stained glass window in the permanent collection of the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York, one of the world's foremost museums dedicated to the art and history of glass. These beautiful mosaics are among the office's most distinctive architectural features and represent a rare piece of American decorative art that Estes Law Office is proud to preserve for future generations.

Located in one of Texas' oldest and best-preserved historic districts, the McKinney office offers clients the opportunity to visit an area known for its unique boutiques, award-winning restaurants, art galleries, live entertainment, and year-round community events centered around the historic courthouse square. Downtown McKinney's vibrant atmosphere, combined with its beautifully preserved nineteenth and early twentieth-century architecture, makes it one of North Texas' premier destinations for shopping, dining, and cultural experiences.

Estes Law Office, P.L.L.C.'s new McKinney office on the Square is scheduled to open in Summer 2026.
